Chasing Traces
a multimedia work by Elisabeth Kelvin – performance, woodwinds and movement, with video and visual art stimuli.
Tracing back to the height of the pandemic, Elisabeth performed a solo work that had to be performed under covid contact restrictions. (see anouncement at that time)
Though the multimedia performance was successfully captured on video, and was selected for the Wien Szene Prize nothing beats the live performance experience. This is particularly true about Chasing Traces where the subtle relationships between audience, performer, sounds, visuals, stasis, and movement are integral to the fullest extent.
